Marvel and Square Enix Announce Partnership and Avengers Video Game
Precise terms of the deal are still scarce, but the license is slated to last multiple years and produce multiple games, according to Marvel’s announcement, with The Avengers planned to be the debut release.

After years of working on the Deus Ex franchise, it appears that developer Eidos is moving on from the series to two new games, if rumors are to be believed.
It’s a real shame we won’t be seeing any new Deus Ex for some time, although it’s unclear how this ties to a GotG project.
Square Enix and Marvel has announced a major collaboration and it all begins in 2018. That, coupled with another entry into the recently rebooted Tomb Raider series to work on, seems to suggest that Eidos Montreal simply won’t have the time to indulge in another Deus Ex game for quite some time.
Mankind Divided went straight in at No.1 in the United Kingdom charts when it launched back in August 2016, but even its strong first week wasn’t enough for it to outperform its predecessor Human Revolution.

Eurogamer reports that, after having failed to meet sales expectations, the majority of the workforce has been moved over to develop the next Tomb Raider game (which apparently will be called Shadows of the Tomb Raider).
