Google to soon remove million apps from Play Store without privacy policies
A subscription to YouTube Red gives users full access to both YouTube Music and Google Play Music.
We have definitely not seen this before. So that YouTube Go can scan the contacts regularly to show you friends that use the app. But still that doesn’t mean that apps shouldn’t have one in the first place. The app weighs less than 10MB to download and is a bare-bone version of the original app, maintaining certain features and adding one or two more interesting ones. There is no word on the future of the two apps as yet but Google will likely push for the creation of a unified product experience. It’s also hard for those in developing countries to get online.
You may use the built-in search to find videos on YouTube, or by browsing the list of recommended videos.
The app is essentially a faster and lighter version of YouTube.
The app also supports several Indian local languages such as Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, and Tamil. And by tackling the problem from a privacy standpoint, Google is not only cleaning up the Play Store, it’s also recommitting to the security and protection of its users. The combined team is working to eventually unify Google’s music services.
Some developers have complained that it is not clear exactly which aspects of their app are in violation of Google’s rules.
So, if there’s an application or game that requests or handles sensitive user or device information, then this new rule applies to them. Facebook is looking to get into the music scene, whereas Apple and Amazon are already there pushing music streaming alternatives. And in Google’s opinion, if you’re going to ever play music on the Home, you might as well stream everything from the company’s streaming service, Play Music.
Go to the “Saved” tab in the app and hit send. There might be tiered offerings from the music service app, such as free but if you want this or that type of content you can pay.
Google initially announced that only Indian users can sign up to pre-register for the app.
