New Nokia devices to be announced at upcoming conference, report says
But since then it has targeted success by making new versions of old phones, including the Nokia 215, which costs $29 and lasts for 29 days.
HMD Global is expected to launch the renewed Nokia 3310 at MWC this year.
There’s no mention of the Nokia 8, the company’s rumored flagship, so maybe we are only getting low- and mid-range phones at MWC?
In November 2016, HMD revealed that the first Nokia Android phone, the Nokia 6 would be launched in China in 2017.
The Nokia 3 will be lesser still than the Nokia 6, and will cost the least of the three. It has a 5.5 Inch HD display powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chip and a 4 GB of RAM. This should bring the price down €50 from €249 for the Nokia 6 to €199 for the Nokia 5 in Europe. A report claimed that the model number TA-1003 is shown alongside with the original model number TA-1000.
There’s no word yet on what exactly the new Nokia 3310 will look like, nor is there any information on any of its specs.
But Alistair also says that to succeed in the current market, Nokia will need to update the 3310’s basic features to be relevant in 2017.
Also incoming are the Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3. The Nokia 3 is anticipated to bear a price tag of 150 Euro (about $159) at launch. But possibly, the most interesting announcement regarding these Nokia devices is at least it is from the perspective of mobile enthusiasts.
Nokia 3310 is known for being its “indestructible” body, Snake game, and mega battery life.
These smartphones will be joined by an “updated” version of the 3310, a “candybar” feature phone introduced in 2000.
The Nokia 150 feature phone is now exclusively available for purchase from United Kingdom high-street retailer Carphone Warehouse. It might have a 13MP camera in the back and 5MP in the front.
