USA lawmakers want say on any Trump Russia sanctions move
The hastily called press conference came as a surprise to reporters, who would typically had a briefing with White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer during that time.
Over the next hour and 15 minutes, Trump proceeded to berate the press for negative coverage of his administration; shout down reporters who asked questions that he deemed unfriendly; dismiss evidence that his campaign aides had contact with Russian Federation as “fake news”; defend WikiLeaks while calling for a crackdown on leakers in his own White House; and complain that the country he inherited was “a mess”.
DONALD Trump claims shooting a Russian spy ship out of USA waters would be a great move for him politically – but admitted he’d rather do a “deal” with Vladimir Putin to prevent a “nuclear holocaust”.

TRUMP: I know you have to get up and ask a question. When it was pointed out that what he had said was untrue, he said, “Well, I don’t know, I was given that information”.
Trump refused to answer what he was going to do about the Russian spy ship off of the coast of CT, claiming he doesn’t announce actions in advance of doing them.
New Britain native Paul Manafort, a veteran political operative who for months ran President Donald Trump’s campaign, is denying a report he had contact with Russian intelligence officials while he was campaign chairman. “Trump were in constant communication during the campaign with Russians known to United States intelligence”, citing current and former intelligence, law enforcement and administration officials.
That time he confirmed the veracity of the leaks that lead to Michael Flynn’s resignation “The leaks are absolutely real”.
The former secretary of state is not weighing in on the recent spate of President Trump news, remaining mum on the President Trump campaign’s ties to Russian Federation.
Spokesperson of the Kremlin Dmitry Peskov also said that the matter of Crimea was not up for discussion with its foreign partners.
Hoyer nonetheless said he expected the bills would be backed by enough lawmakers in both houses of Congress to withstand any potential veto by Trump.
That lengthy and mysterious delay helps to explain why people inside the government leaked the information.
Manafort denied the claims in an interview, calling the allegations “boggling”, saying: “That is 100% not true, at least as far as me…”
McConnell also said he considers Neil Gorsuch, the man Trump picked to replace the late Antonin Scalia on the Supreme Court, to be “the single best circuit court judge in the nation. I love this. I’m having a good time doing it”.
One person not on those calls: Hillary Clinton. Trump kept falling back on the idea that the people don’t believe the press anymore, which of course, has been a result of his campaign against the press.
