14 million machines are now running Windows 10, but are you still waiting for your upgrade notification?
Microsoft is now seeing an “unprecedented demand” for its recently released Windows 10 operating system.
“Starting today, people who reserved their upgrade to Windows 10 will be notified in waves when their upgrade is ready to be installed”, the company said in a statement. “However, with the launch of Windows 10 we are deeply disappointed to see Microsoft take such a dramatic step backwards”, Beard wrote.
Windows 10 is the talk of the town these days and here is something very unusual about it. That issue was reportedly fixed just before the official release of Windows 10, but no-one can be sure right now just how many other serious bugs might be lurking.
“We’re humbled and grateful to see the response to Windows 10“, corporate vice president Yusuf Mehdi said in a blog post late Thursday (July 30). Beard is, consequently, asking Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella to consider their clients’ previous choices and preferences when conceiving a new operating system.
Users have reported that a few of the default settings of Windows 10 uses bandwidth to upload data to other computers running the OS, shares Wi-Fi passwords with online friends and removes the ability to opt out of security updates.
You will fix it with Microsoft’s tool which is called Windows Update Troubleshooter.
