Nokia launches new smartphones ahead Mobile World Congress
The new 3310 qualifies as a “feature phone” rather than a smartphone as it relies on 2.5G connectivity – which has slower data speeds than 3G or 4G.
You can take your pick from four different colours: Matte Black, Silver, Tempered Blue and Copper, and the phone should cost around €229. Today, however, Nokia confirmed that the Nokia 6 would be launched in more countries across the globe. Not much was revealed, but it will have a 5-inch display, an 8MP wide angle rear camera, and an all metal body. The new Nokia 3310 is powered by a 1200mAh removable battery with a maximum talk time of Up to 22.1 hours. HMD Global also added two other Nokia-branded handsets that Nokia fans across the globe would be able to use.
As you can see, the new Nokia 3310 looks like the old one to a degree.
Nokia has sold 126 million of its original 3310 phone since it was first introduced back in September, 2000.
As the name indicates, Nokia 3 is a budget Android phone. The phone packs a total of 16 GB internal memory, 2 GB Ram, MediaTek chipset, dual sim, 1.3Ghz Quad-core processor, 2,650mAh battery and runs Android 7.0 Nougat.
Though the launch of 3310 seems like Nokia’s grand entrance in the feature phone segment, the company is still focusing heavily on smartphones. It also comes with 16GB inbuilt storage that can be expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
The Nokia 6 was originally announced during CES 2017 and has been a consumer favorite in China, selling out quickly during flash sales.
The new Nokia 3310 comes with a color display and a larger battery. The handset is designed toappeal to people who can’t afford modern smartphones.
Now, the company has relaunched the Nokia 3310 at an event in Barcelona.
