It’s ‘better’ I skip WH dinner
The White House detailed Trump’s highly anticipated address on Monday, outlining what will be the president’s biggest speech since his inauguration.
The White House Correspondents Association has announced that they will still hold the event whether Trump attends or not. “But the First Amendment gives all of us, it gives it to me, it gives it to you, it gives it to all Americans the right to speak our minds freely”, Trump said.
Trump’s first major initiative will land in the agencies one day before his first address to a joint session of Congress. A Trump administration official said the budget will not make significant changes to Social Security or Medicare. It will instead focus on ways to produce long-term economic growth by slashing taxes, he said in a Fox News interview on Sunday. I think it’s kind of naive of us to think we can all walk into a room for a couple of hours and pretend that some of that tension isn’t there. We must ensure that our courageous servicemen and women have the tools they need to deter war and when called upon to fight in our name, only do one thing: “Win”, the USA president said. Roughly a quarter of the cash may be spent by the Israelis on military equipment, including arms, with the stipulation that American defense contractors benefit from the sales. He has said it has too many regulations that burden companies and cause long delays for businesses trying to get approvals for new factories. “[We can] make the government lean and accountable to the people”. “I had the greatest time”.
But others raised questions about the impact of planned cuts at the State Department and the Environmental Protection Agency.
“We are going to be doing things having to do with other countries because we are treated very very unfairly…”
“We are going to spend a lot more money on military…” The dinner, which has attracted A-list celebrities in recent years, features a presidential roast of reporters and a comic routine by a notable entertainer.
“I would have gone one-on-one with different people”, he said.
Trump then responded to Oscars’ host Jimmy Kimmel’s comments insinuating that the president is racist.
In a statement released after Trump’s twitter, the WHCA said it had taken note of Trump’s position.
