Watch Last Night’s Oscar-Edition Of “Mean Tweets”
La La Land star Ryan Gosling may have missed out on an Oscar but his composure amidst the chaos that surrounded the best picture victor has catapulted him into the running to be named the next James Bond.
Meanwhile, Ryan’s co-star Emma Stone also raised eyebrows on the red carpet, but it was more for the political statement that she made than her sartorial choices.
The 89th annual Academy Awards were held at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center and aired on ABC. Gosling’s many Winona-level expressions turned the night into one giant meme factory, culminating in the most appropriate reaction to the “La La Land” vs. “Moonlight” Best Picture oops. “I had urged her agency to check any photograph which might be used and understand that they were told that the Academy had it covered”, she revealed.
“Emma Stone looks like a crack w- in every role she plays”, stated one tweet directed at the La La Land actress. “I wasn’t trying to be amusing”.
Of course, the entire thing was in good fun-unless there were any mean tweets about Matt Damon, because we’re sure Kimmel meant those. “We are now investigating how this could have happened, and deeply regret that this occurred”. Did Ryan just openly cheat on Eva at the biggest award show of all TIME??? I mean, we hate to see people disappointed, but the good news is, we got to see some extra speeches We had some great movies.
Thank you Jimmy, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. I promise I’ll never come back.
