One published report said Oscars host Jimmy Kimmel was keeping Gary and Vicky out of the limelight until they appear on his late night talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday.

While multiple stars took to the stage to denounce Trump’s policies, none of them mentioned the commander in chief by name. Host Jimmy Kimmel kicked off the night with a sharp jab against Trump in front of an audience of millions ― “Remember past year when it seemed like the Oscars were racist?”.

A partner from PricewaterhouseCoopers, the accounting firm which tabulates the votes and is responsible for handling the results, handed the wrong envelope to the two presenters.
