Google Assistant could be on your Android phone soon
This addition makes starting a new conversation with your AI assistant a lot more convenient.
Firstly, you will need a smartphone that runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow or Android 7.0 Nougat.
While the update will be rolled out in the United States and English-speaking countries first, Google says it will eventually make its way to other countries as well. The first update is the Google Assistant, making it available to nearly all smartphones.
“Allo users can now tap on a Smart reply with the Lucky icon or type “@lucky” followed by a phrase, and they can share a randomly selected GIF to their friends. Google previously started in Pixel devices and other nexus devices initially now rolling out to other devices as play store app.

Google has announced through its official blog, that Google Assistant will now come integrated into smartphones other than its Pixel and Nexus lineup. Now google adds the GIF support in the same way as emoji.
One of the defining features of Google’s latest chat app, Allo, is that it works closely with Google Assistant to help you get stuff done through chat. From Google’s perspective, the future is definitely all about AI. The company has promised to continue adding more languages throughout the year.
Although frustrating, it made sense for Google to lock Assistant inside Pixel devices, so as to provide an incentive for those picking up the device. Apart from these, Google Assistant is capable of determining its users’ input even amidst consistent back-and-forth dialog, allowing interactions to be spontaneous and natural, according to a TechCrunch report.
