Florida man chews off fingertips to avoid being identified by police
Warning: Some people may find the video above hard to watchIt all started Thursday with a traffic stop on State Road 82, as mentioned by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office.
A Florida man has been arrested and charged with a bevy of crimes despite his attempts at chewing off his own fingerprints in order to escape detection. Police quickly found out that Roberts was in possession of a fake ID, three stolen credit cards, and a concealed firearm, and therefore tucked him away in the back of their squad auto. While in the back of the police vehicle, Roberts was caught on camera attempting to destroy his identity before Lee County police officials fingerprinted him.
Kenzo Roberts is seen on surveillance video gnawing his fingers, chewing after which swallowing as he sits behind a patrol automotive.
Once they arrived at the police station for fingerprinting and booking, it was proven that his disturbing plan to remove his fingertips by chewing them off was all in vain. Apparently, he attacked an individual with a deadly weapon while in Broward County. Once pulled over, Roberts was found to be in possession of a concealed fire arm, three fraudulent credit cards, and provided the officers with a fake ID.
The US Border Patrol stated Roberts was within the nation illegally.
