Cast of new ‘Ghostbusters’ movie visits Boston hospital Saturday
Tufts Medical Center tweeted a thank you to the cast for their visit.
Kristen Wiig, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon, and Leslie Jones showed at the center in full Ghostbusters attire, proton packs and all.
In other Ghostbusters news, there has been a will-they-or-won’t-they situation in regards to a competing, all-male reboot, to be filmed alongside Paul Feig’s all-female version.
Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones visited Tufts Medical Center decked out in their ghost-fighting gear to snap a few photos with some of the patients.
A number of film stars have appeared in costume to help cheer up hospital patients this year, including Johnny Depp dressing as Jack Sparrow in Australia, along with Chris Evans (Captain America) and Chris Pratt (Star-Lord) donning their outfits in Seattle.
“They were a true delight to have today“, said a spokesperson for the hospital. “We can not thank them enough for the happiness and excitement they created”. The actresses are now filming the movie in Boston near the hospital, which shared several photos from the surprise visit on Facebook.
