Samsung starts production of Galaxy S8

Many carriers in the country will pick the yet unannounced Galaxy J series handset but under different names. The battery of Note 7 was considered the main culprit for the device’s overheating and catching fire. In a way, this sounds awfully familiar to Dell’s Infinity Edge display present on the company’s XPS notebook lineup.

Following the stunning S8 photos revealed by serial leaker Evan Blass earlier this week, tech outlet BGR has obtained another fresh batch of previously unseen pictures of the next-gen Galaxy device.

A 12-megapixel camera with Dual Pixel takes the position on the back of the Galaxy S8 close by the flash and also a recently moved fingerprint scanner.

The upcoming Galaxy S8 looks a little like the S7 Edge, but it has a lot more advanced features.

Samsung Galaxy S8 pre-orders will open on April 10 according to a new report out of The Investor, which in turn credits “industry sources” with the information. The Galaxy S8 will feature a 5.8-inch display, while the Galaxy S8+ is expected to have a 6.2-inch display. This storage can be expanded up to 256 GB with the help of external MicroSD card. With the advent of higher resolution displays, more display real-estate and the very real possibility of a Pro model iPhone, this year’s A11 CPU could well be the most potent we’ve seen released in a good long while. While Galaxy Tab S2 supports 30 hours of talktime on its 3G model, it is not known how much talktime the Galaxy Tab S3 will support in the Wi-Fi and LTE models.

Furthermore, Samsung is belligerently focusing on its virtual assistant and allegedly plans to assimilate it into all the native applications on upcoming high-end devices.
