Washington WR John Ross is the fastest player in National Football League combine history
His time was faster than the majority of the wide receivers.
Move to the side, Chris Johnson. Ross had a formal meeting with Philadelphia on Friday. “I don’t want to say too much, [that] I’m just everything”.
Johnson did take to Twitter to congratulate Ross on breaking his record. Adidas offered an island to any prospect who broke the record “as soon as reasonably possible”, but they also stipulated that they could alternatively pay the prospect $1 million.
“That’s something that is hard to overcome, ” Ross said. “I just go out there and run. And I don’t own a boat”. To win the island, the record-breaker had to run in the shoe company’s cleats, which Ross didn’t do. He sat out the rest of the day’s events.
Here is also a comparison of college wide receiver running his 40 against a yellow line representing the Cardinals’ running back and his time. “But neither is Antonio Brown at 5’10”, 186 pounds and he’s the highest paid WR in the game. So I study those guys just to see how I can use my body and then study like the Justin Houston’s and the Tamba Hali’s just because the way they use their hands is nearly an artwork. Some teams are bound to be more concerned with Ross’s knees and shoulder than others.
Price is projected to go in the sixth round as an outside linebacker. Instead, he was on a flight back to Tuscaloosa, Ala.
The speedster from the University of Washington has already been linked to the Redskins, has a relationship with DeSean Jackson and impressed everyone Saturday at the NFL Combine. Details about Foster’s early departure were not disclosed by NFL Media, but Foster was not going to participate in drills anyway because of a recent surgery he underwent.
Well, he might not swim well, but Ross can fly.
When Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett heard the time, he shook his head in admiration. “So guys that came before us set a great example on why they should give chances to a guy like me and guys who aren’t as tall”. “And I feel like I’ll prove that today and tomorrow”. This year’s receiver class is not considered particularly special, but one player managed to steal the show on Saturday.
“He probably has little bit more skill than me”, Garrett said.
