While the pro-Trump rallies happened in downtown San Diego, another group – those against Trump – rallied in Ocean Beach. “It’s OK to voice support for the president and the country”.

“There were seven people who were evaluated for medical injuries, but none needed nor wanted to go to the hospital”, said the Berkeley police. “We just have to give his (Trump’s) methods a chance”. “I just support everything he’s doing and haven’t been let down yet”. “We pray for him everyday”, said Stan Smith. “You’re welcome.” She said the goal of the event was to encourage the nation to unite behind the president.
“They aren’t giving [Trump] a chance”, Patty Collins, a local organizer, told The Indianapolis Star.
Numerous people involved in the rally drove from outside the Coachella Valley to attend due to a lack of a similar event closer to home. But organizers of the so-called Spirit of America rallies on Saturday expected as much.
