Warriors Not Fans Of NBA Silent Treatment
NY is 5½ games out of the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference with 19 games to play after Sunday’s 112-105 loss to the Golden State Warriors.
It was certainly odd.
Steve Kerr was asked before the game how he would handle a shooting slump in his days as a sharp-shooting guard.
“Sometimes less is more”, Warriors guard/forward Andre Iguodala said of teammates stepping up in Durant’s absence.
“That is going to be a disrespect”.
It had been the worst shooting stretch of Curry’s career, and during the first half on Sunday against the Knicks, Curry again couldn’t get much to go. It’s like; computers can do anything for us. Why would you do that?
The announcement was made on the jumbotron, saying that it was an experiment to let fans “experience the game in its purest form”. In fairness, that’s a bit of a reach considering this is the Knicks.
Players, and coaches on both teams found the lack of music in the first half pretty off-putting. They now trail the Raptors by three games in the standings and lead the Indiana Pacers by two. In fact, tell us in the attached poll what you think of the Knicks gimmick. Just leave that one alone.
If only it were that simple. “Move on to the next game”. That’ll do. The Knicks’ starting center put up a very Ewing-esque 24 points and 15 rebounds. Never one to bite his tongue, Draymond Green went straight to the Donald Trump glossary of hyperbole in order to adequately express his disgust. An errant pass by Baker was picked off and then Green stole the ball from Porzingis. Filed by plaintiffs Myrone Powell and Jasmine Besiso in a U.S. District Court in NY, the lawsuit alleges that Barnes grabbed Besiso by her neck and started strangling her at approximately 3 A.M. ET, right after a fight broke out in the VIP section of the club.
“I don’t understand coach’s decision”. “But it’s not in my arsenal yet”. Derrick Rose turned back the clock to his MVP days with a 28 point performance. Justin Holiday led the Knicks with 15 points in 23 minutes. The Hawks allowed an National Basketball Association regular-season-record 25 3-pointers against the Cleveland Cavaliers two games ago and have allowed at least 14 in each of the past four games.
He finished the game with a game-high 31 points, and the Warriors snapped their two-game skid. There’s no need to rehash that three-game losing streak from last June.
The Cleveland Cavaliers as a whole are shooting 39.2 percent from the three-point range and the Golden State Warriors are shooting 38.2 percent from three-point range.
The Knicks may be better off getting to that point sooner rather than later.
The Nets actually have a better record during their season-long eight-game road trip than the Hawks do in their season-long six-game homestand. The one who did not meet his level was Stephen Curry, who missed most of his shots. “It was good to get a win without him (Durant) tonight”.
