Samsung Galaxy S8 Launch Date Reportedly Delayed Again
These 2017 edition devices were initially unveiled the CES 2017.
Samsung has just filed a trademark application on a Samsung foldable smartphone called the Samsung Galaxy X. While Samsung now has its hands full with the ongoing Mobile World Congress 2017, the company seems to be moving forward with some big plans for developing new smartphones. Instead, Samsung announced the date for the Galaxy S8 event.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017), the successor of the 2016 model, is in the news again and this time it has been spotted receiving Wi-Fi certification. Both the phones were launched at the start of 2017 in some countries, and interestingly, Samsung did not launch the Galaxy A3 (2017) in India, which was also showcased at the recently concluded MWC 2017.
Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) features a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920×1080) Super AMOLED display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
The story is the same when it comes to the alignment of the front camera and proximity sensors.
The firm is counting on the Galaxy S8 smartphones as it seeks to put behind one of the biggest product safety failures in tech history. It will be powered by a 2,600mAh battery and also come with Marshmallow 6.0.1, which hopefully should make the jump to Nougat soon enough after launch. Both devices get a USB Type-C port and an Always-On display. You may think Samsung would use on-screen controls like on most phones running stock Android, for that could be the only alternative to having display in place of a physical button. Other features include split-screen multitasking, better battery life, enhanced notifications and recent applications window. Also, another major change lies in the camera department and the phones are rated IP68, meaning they’re water and dust resistant.
The new Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) has been priced at Rs. 28,990, while the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has been priced at Rs. 33,490. All the pre-ordered devices will be shipped only after March 16th, and there is no information about the availability of this device in the other markets.
