Google has new features in store for Android at Google I/O
The leader in the internet industry with the popularity that outdoes all other rivals has been continuously shaping and reshaping its range of products. While Nougat still represents a small portion of the overall Android usage, its popularity will certainly increase in due course of time.
The latest Android OS distribution numbers are here, and while it’s been a little over five months since Google rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat, its market share stands at minuscule 2.4 percent. Android 8 is expected to bring a whole lot of more fun to the devices running the OS version. As for the smaller sized LG G4, it will only be able to hop aboard the Android 7.0 Nougat bandwagon some time in the third quarter of 2017 – that is, July to September. However, before bringing on a new Android variant, we are sure most of us out there are waiting to actually get hands on the Nougat yet!
Google’s senior VP of Android, Chrome OS and Google Play, Hiroshi Lockheimer, recently tweeted a GIF animation suggesting that the next version may be called Android Oreo.
According to a source close to Google, Android O will come with new smart features that are meant to improve the user experience.
At long last, the source guarantees that finger motions could be incorporated into Android 8.0.

It is believed that the growth took place due to the fact that many new phones were launched with Android Nougat on board at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017; and also quite a few of the older smartphones have already started receiving the update. Likewise, if you tap on an address, then Maps app will open right away.
