First poster for Game of Thrones season 7 doesn’t spoil anything
But just in case that alone isn’t enough to quench your GoT thirst (if something like that is even possible), the network has also released an awesome Season 7 poster to obsess over from now until the end of time. The upcoming season will also be a departure from the usual 10-episodes per season.
But we will not make you work so hard and in case you didn’t know already, Game of Thrones season 7 is out July 16.
The big announcement came Thursday during a Facebook Live video. Every time a commenter typed “fire” the loading bar filled up more and when it was complete the fire shot at the ice, melting it bit by bit.
The producers chose to go literal with A Song of Ice and Fire, the book series by George R R Martin, on which the show is based.
Few shows drive the excitement and anticipation that HBO’s Game of Thrones has over the past few years.
So after learning that July 16 is the one for the diaries, the new trailer released with Jon Snow telling the viewer: ‘There’s only one war that matters: the Great War.
The above teaser poster, revealed at SXSW, offers little to no information about what’s coming in season seven, but it does hint at the long-awaited battle between ice and fire.
“Game of Thrones” is based on a series of novels called “The Song of Ice and Fire”.
Unfortunately, the power of the ice was too strong and the feed was interrupted, leaving many fans wondering if they would ever learn the premiere date.
HBO will broadcast the season seven premiere at 9pm EST in the US. Though he hasn’t said much about it, we’re certain his will be a character that’ll change everything we’ve come to know about the machinations of the Realm.
