Saying Goodbye To The Vampire Diaries: What I’ve Learned
Wesley, had an unusual experience in a scene when he was with Stefan Salvatore. They talked all night.
Warning: Spoilers ahead for “The Vampire Diaries” series finale, “I Was Feeling Epic.” . And now, in the series finale, it was Stefan’s turn to do something – or more accurately – something else that was epic … and it cost him his life. Bonnie got to live. Stefan plunges the special dagger into her and she’s down. Bonnie ended the series by saving Mystic Falls and her friends one last time (by regaining her magic, uh, somehow, that whole thing was unclear) and calling upon her ancestors in a powerful scene, then chose to travel and embrace her life and be happy without Enzo.
“There’s a lot of battling and warring in the shipping fandom over Caroline’s future and who she’s meant to be with”, she said. She would’ve liked him better. Damon, desperate to disprove that, throws Vicki off of the bell tower.
Show creators Julie Plec and Kevin Williamson had a different ending in mind for Stefan (Paul Wesley), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) – photographed above – and Elena (Nina Dobrev).
The CW was formed in 2006 and back then, the network focused more on teen-centric shows like Gossip Girl. Enzo arrives and says he isn’t ready for her, its not her time to come to him; he forces her back to live. He orders the town evacuated.
Matt stays at home, as the new Sheriff of Mystic Falls, watched over by the spirits of Vicky (Kayla Ewell) and Tyler (Michael Trevino).
Damon, on the other hand, was “a whirlwind of chaos”, Plec says. At least that’s what he thinks before he rounds the corner and sees that Elena’s coffin is empty.
On screen, it was troubling to see how much Elena’s character had changed when she started dating Damon in season four. In an instant, he drops Elena, mostly because she’s Katherine. “I was like, ‘Good work, guys'”.
As we tell our readers, it’s best to avoid social media if you are planning on watching the final season on Netflix for the next week. Over the course of the show’s near-decade run, we also got to know a werewolf named Tyler Lockwood, her ghost whisperer brother Jeremy Gilbert, and the remarkably human Matt Donovan, among others. “So I hope people enjoy that”.
And now, she gets her ideal revenge.
Stefan finds Elena’s body. They, too, were smitten because she looked exactly like their old amour, one Katherine Pierce – who was decidedly not nice.
After the emotional episode aired, several cast members took to social media to reminisce about their time on the show and to share their final goodbye messages. They also shared their experiences on how they took their last time at the show’s set. Although I did not want Stefan to die, it was right that he made up for what he did to Damon all those years ago. With Katherine’s wrath far from over, who will suffer the most? If you’re still watching this show in Season 8, then you are in it for the long haul.
