Deadpool Red Band Trailer Coming Tuesday
Ryan Reynolds has stepped into the suit after years of talking up the role, and a time in 2009 where he played a basterdised version in X-Men Origins Wolverine.
After taking San Diego Comic-Con by storm, fans of the popular foul-mouthed character Deadpool will finally get to witness the trailer in all its glory next week. Reynolds wrote on his official Twitter page, “As much as I want the #deadpool footage from #SDCC officially released, the VFX shots aren’t done yet. You bent their arms behind their backs, twisted their frigging necks, and here we are”. Ryan Reynolds is Conan O’Brien’s guest on the Tuesday, August 4 episode of TBS’ late night talk show and Reynolds will be there to “debut the new redband trailer for Deadpool“.
Fans have already gotten a glimpse of Marvel’s infamous “Merc with a Mouth” all decked out in his red and black armor, thanks to a previously released promotional still.
According to IGN, being a red band trailer, the clip which will be shown on “Conan” is expected to depict the actual adult-oriented theme of “Deadpool”.
One could easily assume that after it makes its debut on Conan that the footage will be making its way to the internet rather quickly. We knew we wouldn’t have to wait long, and now it’s nearly over, as the first trailers for Deadpool will land next week.
A non “red band” trailer will debut with Fantastic Four, which hits theaters August 7. As to what we will see, that is still unknown. In all honesty, you simply can not do justice to Deadpool and sensor his mouth.
With the promise of some official footage getting a release soon following the leaks from Comic-Con, folks have been clamoring for their first look at Deadpool in action.
Deadpool is scheduled to open February 12, 2016.
