Samsung Galaxy A5, A7 (2017) Launched in India, Starting at Rs. 28990
There’s been no lack of leaked photos of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8. All the leaks occurred overnight so here they are, all in one post.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 should come with several great new features, with the most important being an edge-to-edge, nearly bezel-less screen. What a trove of leaks to cover. This feature gives an edge to the S8 compared to Apple smartphones, which do not support expandable storages. These slim bezels will mean that the fingerprint scanner and physical buttons that have appeared on previous Galaxy S series phones will be no more.
Finally, it is widely believed that Bluetooth 5.0 functionality will be included with the Galaxy S8 when it arrives on the market. The beast would be big for sure, but we still have to wait for a more to leaks, to outline the specifics on the design front.
The back will be a curved affair too, and it’ll ship in seven colours – gold, silver, bright black, matte black, blue, orchid, and pink. The iPhone 7 has a great display – especially when you consider the technology that it’s using – but the Samsung S8 should be much better. The different shapes and sizes really plays havoc with my OCD. No dual-camera might make be disappointing for some Samsung fans who have been looking forward to it.
“Samsung poured resources into Synaptics’ fledgling technology a year ago, but the results were frustrating”, anonymous sources within Samsung’s supply chain indicated in a report published by South Korea’s The Investor on Monday. Even though Samsung wanted to keep it, they may not have had the time to work out its placement in the larger display model. Samsung is now updating older handsets, such as the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S6 to Android Nougat, but these devices have received the original Android 7.0 Nougat version software. We don’t expect to see 4GB RAM until next year, but yes, there might be some storage upgrades with a new 64GB variant in place of 32GB. Samples of these can be seen below. Taking a bit of a closer look though reveals that Samsung has changed things up quite a bit.
Last week, we reported that Samsung Pay had finally gone live in India, after Samsung teased a launch during February.
If you own the Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge, head into the Settings menu of your device to check if the update is already available.
