Vanessa Grimaldi and Nick Viall’s Final Date On ‘The Bachelor’ 2017

“The Bachelor” 2017 is officially over.

“We have a long way to go”.

The couple looked visibly grim during the show’s finale, something Twitter had no problem calling out. Would he be left at the altar again if he asks Vanessa to marry him?

Throughout the season, Viall barely behaved like someone who actually wanted to find a life partner – the 36-year-old’s antics had mostly been a show of disinterest and puzzling choices that would come off as manipulative if his execution was less bumbling. It just wasn’t quite what we expected, so we were a little let down when it happened. “He chose it because that’s what he thinks of her”.

While the episode marked the end of Nick’s run on “The Bachelor”, it also marked the beginning of former castoff Rachel Lindsay’s tenure as the first black “Bachelorette”. We can only imagine the fights that are going to break out because of her. Move over JoJo Fletcher, it’s Rachel’s turn!

Viall is reunited with runner-up Raven Gates for the first time since he sent her home from Finland. Through tears, Nick told her that his heart was somewhere else and that he felt lucky to have known her. Vanessa Grimaldi wins the final rose but she will still face issues on location.

So what’s a girl to do after getting engaged to the love of her life? The new couple talks about how much they love each other, the loser agrees to go to Bachelor in Paradise and the Bachelorette talks about the upcoming season.

“I’m definitely done with the Bachelor franchise, but I’m very grateful for my time”, he said. “Someone who can keep up with me, keep me on my toes, challenge me and isn’t afraid to call me out on some of my BS”, he told Entertainment Tonight.

Despite the turmoil surrounding Higgins’ engagement to Bushnell, fellow “Bachelor” alumna JoJo Fletcher seems pleased about where her relationship is going with fiancé Jordan Rodgers. And so, I really think he was just giving me that opportunity.

“There’s just something that isn’t sitting right”. As a Canadian from Montreal, she was hesitant about a long-distance future with Nick, as there were many things she wasn’t willing to give up – including her proximity to her family and the job she loves so much. “There were a few interventions I had to do with a couple of them”. “It’s stronger than anyone else’s”.

“I know the Nick & Vanessa crazies don’t want to believe it, but holy sh*t, be objective”. Fourth time’s a charm, right Nick?
