Motorola officially launches Moto G5 Plus in India, starting at ₹14999
However, it seemingly has better build quality and more thorough design compared to the Moto G4 Plus. It beats out the competition when comes to the camera performance.
At the end 2016, Lenovo and Motorola had 8.9 per cent share of the Indian smartphone market, as per research firm IDC. To recall, the smartphone was launched by the Lenovo at the MWC 2017 event alongside Moto G5.

In some regions, the company unveiled 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant, but the Moto G5 Plus Price is not clear. The phone comes in two colors, Fine Gold and Lunar Grey so you have color options to choose from.
This means that customers can enjoy a fixed discount rate with the exchange of their smartphone within a certain limited time.
Customer needs to return the “original box (intact condition), original charger and original accessories in working condition”, it added.
One of the major differences between this year’s Moto G phones and their predecessors is the shift in design language. As for specs, this the Moto G5 Plus features a 5.2-inch IPS display with 1080p resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for scratch resistance.
The Moto G5 is engineered with 1.4GHz Snapdragon 430 octa-core processor while the Moto G5 Plus has a faster-clocked 2GHz Snapdragon 625 which also an octa-core chipset.
Price and Availability: The Moto G5 Plus is offered in two variants – 3GB of RAM + 16GB storage priced at Rs 14,999 and 4GB of RAM + 32GB storage priced at Rs 16,999.
Both the variants have a microSD slot which supports cards up to 128GB.
It runs on Android Nougat 7.0 with AI based Google Assistant on board. The device also features a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front snapper. Up front, the device houses a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Motorola G5 Plus packs a 3000mAh all-day battery with Turbo Charge, claimed to boost battery life upto 6 hours in jusyt 15 minutes of charge time.
The Google Photos app will be the default Galler app on this device. The device is also coated with water repellent material to protect it from light splashes and rain. It also supports gestures as seen on the Lenovo’s ZUK smartphones that can replace the on-screen navigation buttons.
The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart from midnight tonight.
Neither Motorola nor Flipkart have revealed the price of the G5 Plus.
