Rain washes out day four in Mirpur
Incessant rain washed out the entire day two of play in the second and final Test between Bangladesh and South Africa in Dhaka.
Play for the whole of second and third day was washed out without a ball being bowled due to rains under influence of cyclone Komen.
“We have a good change room at the moment”, Vilas said. We have come to play. Bangladesh will be concerned that none of their top or middle-order batsmen was able to convert a start into a century. “We would have played ten days against the best team in the world, and tested our skills better against them”. Mahmudullah believes getting out after settling down is a crime in Tests. However, Morne Morkel piled a host of misery on Bangladesh by removing Shakib Al Hasan.
Beaming captain Hashim Amla and squad congratulates Dale Steyn (pink strapping), on his 400th Test wicket last week.
“Everybody is feeling this (as a problem)”.
“As a debutant, and I’m sure others before me will agree, you want to get that first wicket, run or catch under the belt”. This time no ODIs will be played. “It is a crime in Test cricket”, Mahmudullah said.
“I’ve by no means been a stats individual”, he stated concerning the achievement.
