Xiaomi sells over 1 million Redmi Note 4 in 45 days

Xiaomi has sent out invitations for a press event, where it’s speculated to launch a new smartphone in India. Priced at Rs.9,999, the sales broke its earlier record in 2016 when the Redmi Note 3 was the most shipped smartphone sold online in any quarter, according to IDC figures. It gets a 13MP rear camera with PDAF, f/2.0 aperture and 5MP camera on the front. There is a variant with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage with a price of around $152. The Flash sale of Redmi smartphones would last only for very less time. The Redmi 4 is the successor to the Redmi 3S while the Redmi 4A is a budget variant of the same.
However, the new report has something else suggesting us, and accordingly, we may see the dual rear camera module remaining in the upcoming device as well, since it has been the USP of the Redmi Pro devices.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4 series consists of four phones- the Redmi 4 Prime, the Redmi 4X, the Redmi 4, and the smaller of all Redmi 4A. The Redmi Note 4 was put up for its first flash sale on January 23 via Flipkart and Mi.com and in just 10 minutes over 250,000 units of the smartphone were sold.
The Redmi 4A features a 5-inch Full HD IPS display. On the connectivity front, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and micro USB port.
Under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 SoC. As for the Redmi 4, it goes for CNY 699 (around Rs 6600) and features nearly the same specifications except for its Snapdragon 430 SoC and 4100mAh battery.
The battery capacity of Xiaomi’s Redmi 4A sports 3120 mAh and features a display screen of 5.00-inch, coming to the storage capacity of Xiaomi’s Redmi 4a, the Smartphone sports an internal memory capacity of 16 GB and a RAM of 2GB.
