The mystery behind ‘why Kattappa killed Bahubali?’ will unfold when S S Rajamouli’s “Bahubali 2: The Conclusion” next month but the director says he enjoyed the fan theories related to the cliffhanger. The makers have promised that the Bahubali 2 trailer would be released online in the afternoon.
“A major factor for the wide appeal of the Baahubali films is the scale and immersive nature with which we designed and filmed them”.
Baahubali’s dialogue to Katappa, “Tumhare hote hue mujhe maarne waala paida nahi hua mama”, leaves the audience intrigued about the unanswered question – “Why did Katappa kill Baahubali?“.
“We felt like we watched a movie on the first day”, said K. Vamshi, a college student outside one of the theatres in the city. The Hindi version of the trailer alone enjoyed over 5 million views in 15 hours and 8 million views in 24 hours. At the launch of the event today, Rajamouli revealed that despite Part 1’s success, he didn’t change the story but he worked on the action scenes and the VFX for the second part. And it is a testimony to such fandom that the trailer already has more than 30 lakh views. But it is not only in India, the fans overseas have also reacted after watching the trailer. Within no time, the trailer has crossed 50-million mark. It is slated to release on April 28. On the other hand, Baahubali 2 rides majorly on the basic human emotions shared by the principal characters of the film.
