Rain likely for your Friday
NY is in for another round of snow this weekend, forecasters say.
While it doesn’t look to produce much accumulating snow, the mix of light snow and light freezing rain could make for a rather hard commute Friday morning in West Michigan. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 37.
Temperatures will warm back up on Monday for the first day of spring with highs in the mid 40s. Monday’s high is forecast at 40 degrees. This advisory is for snow that will move in this morning from west to east ahead of an approaching warm front. Calm wind becoming south 5 to 9 miles per hour in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 41.
The watch is in effect for gusty southwest winds and low relative humidity.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 32. East wind 5 to 7 miles per hour. Light and variable wind.
On Saturday morning, snow is expected mainly before 5 a.m. North wind 10 to 13 miles per hour.
The system coming through lacks a lot of moisture, but a coating to an inch of snow and slush is possible. Another inch is possible early Sunday.
