Talking to the ‘Walking Dead’ EP & cast about that big cliffhanger
There’s no denying that #TheWalkingDeadSeason7 has been intense. But who did Rosita see on The Walking Dead? And though it promises more – because there is a whole lot to get to – there is an ending.
When The Walking Dead returns for its eighth season, the season premiere will be the show’s milestone 100th episode.
Ever since Jesus arrived during the sixth season, the character has been really secretive and we still know very little about him.
Obviously they didn’t kill Negan either – with two episodes remaining this season, the strutting villain was never going to be bundled hastily off stage. Knowing that Sasha won’t do it, Enid says she’ll tell Maggie everything in 10 minutes. Judging by The Walking Dead’s track record of soul-baring speeches preceding a character’s death, that conversation may spell bad news for Rosita.
Sorry Eric, but we’re here for whatever Jesus and Aaron’s stupid shipper name would be. Thankfully, by the end of this episode, both women felt a little closer to actual people again. Negan will think he has the numbers, some of Rick’s people will die, but then the Hilltop and Kingdom communities show up to save the day. We’ve seen it coming for a while and the show has continued to tease a big fight is coming. Negan killed Abraham. That guy has got to go.
‘So, we’re going through a desert somewhere and I jump off the bus. Daryl would have had to rush all the way from the Hilltop to get to the sanctuary. As you can imagine, Carson was a bit nervous about leaving, but unfortunately Simon persisted.
Turns out Dr. Carson at Hilltop is brother to Negan’s doctor that he threw in the oven. He then goes to the shed that Maggie and Daryl are hiding in, and Maggie has to restrain herself from killing him. After embracing, Maggie begged Daryl to help them defeat Negan.
Abraham may have been the master of one-liners, but he did Rosita and Sasha a great disservice when he dumped the former after becoming fixated on the latter. There is also a teaser scene of Sasha aiming her sniper gun at Negan. He’s been able to go back and try to make up for it. Rosita revealed that while it was easy to blame Sasha, she was really just hurting from the fact that Abraham seemed to find it easier to acclimate to the safety of Alexandria than she did. Gunshots ring out as Sasha runs into the sanctuary. While fleeing from the building, Rosita caught a glimpse of someone mysterious in the dark outside of the Sanctuary. “The first episode of season eight…it’s about setting up this huge epic tale to come not only in season eight but beyond”. Simon shows up on Negan’s orders to take Hilltop’s doctor since now he needs one having oven baked his physician.
We have to give Lincoln plaudits for sheer zesty imagination to be honest – even if it doesn’t quite top the Carl fan theory.
“The Walking Dead” airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on AMC. What do you think will happen next?
