Aquaman Is a Trident-Wielding Badass in New ‘Justice League’ Footage
The Justice League teasing just keeps heating up as Warner Brothers drops mini-videos ahead of Saturday’s full-size trailer debut.
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman takes front and center in a new, 15-second teaser for “Justice League”. In the same manner, Ezra Miller’s The Flash gives the fans a look at the Scarlet Speedster in his own vantage point, complete with his trademark sparks.
But the highlight has to be his sparks of electricity as he races off into a run. The teaser also showcased the Parademons which were a part of a dream sequence in Batman v Superman. This, coupled with a pair of Batman- and Aquaman-heavy teasers, comes before a full-length trailer on Saturday. While we see an old footage from the original Justice League trailer, we also see a quick scene that not only shows how cool and quick The Flash disappears and goes in action. The other flicks which were released are two teaser trailers for Aquaman and Batman. Executive producer Deborah Snyder told ComicBook.com “I think the main thing we learned, I think people don’t like to see their heroes deconstructed”, Snyder half-joked. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to recruit a team to stand against this newly awakened enemy.
Justice League is due out in theaters November 17.
Each of the released teasers has concluded with the Justice League heroes standing shoulder to shoulder, and fans can expect even more of that imagery as the film’s marketing campaign ramps up closer to its release. The next two shots, of Diana as Wonder Woman, are recycled from previous Justice League teasers shown a year ago at San Diego Comic-Con.
