New ‘Game of Thrones’ Season 7 Trailer Highlights the Power Players

The promo ends with a close up on the ice-blue eye of the final monarch threatening to go to war this season: The Night’s King.

The latest promo trailer for Season 7 of HBO’s hit show “Game of Thrones” is upon us. Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jon Snow and the Night King also appear. So it’s fitting, really, that the trailer is titled “Long Walk”. And, speaking of which, Cersei’s blithe walk across the Red Keep shows she’s confident, but certainly not untouchable.

To say that fans across the globe are just waiting for the next Game of Throne season to air would be an understatement. Jon seems to be in Winterfell and Daenerys seems to be sitting on a throne of wood – a possible hint about her alliance with the Greyjoys.

In the teaser, an ominous folk song plays in the background, and Jon Snow is seen walking through a corridor. It is frankly f***ed up and it would nearly make us forget that we will have to wait until this Summer to discover the next episodes of Game of Thrones.

Speaking of cool, does anyone else notice Cersei’s breath at the end? Game of Thrones returns on July 16.

“But she definitely is a lot more powerful, and it’ll be very interesting to see how she handles that coming up this season”.

We know the threat to all is the White Walkers, and their zombie horses the Wights, who amass in staggering numbers.
