Activists call for transparency in ICE shooting

Criticism reached as far as Washington, D.C., where Bristol County Sheriff Thomas M. Hodgson – a Republican who’s repeatedly called for tougher immigration enforcement – criticized DuBois in testimony before a House subcommittee on immigration. A Holocaust survivor condemned Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during a town hall Tuesday for reportedly waiting outside of courthouses and religious institutions nationwide to detain undocumented immigrants since President Donald Trump took office January 20.
