Georgetown Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 15

The egg-citing event will feature carnival game booths, prizes, bounce house, face-painting, temporary tattoos, music and craft tables where kids can make their own Easter crafts.

Donations to support the egg hunt were made by local businesses including Walgreens, Bounce, First Federal Bank, Café Corazon, and Target. Children can also participate in free arts and crafts and face painting.

For those seeking to adopt their new, fuzzy family member, the hours of operation for the shelter on Saturdays is 11 a.m.to 5 p.m.

“Most traditional churches have gotten so used to being inside their building that if you don’t come in the building then you’re not necessarily getting what you need or not seeing that hope”.
