My son likes Spider-Man not Star-Lord: Chris Pratt
“We definitely will have a strong presence, but we are playing supporting cast – you know what I mean?”
Speaking during an appearance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert”, Chris said: “He knows and he doesn’t care”. I don’t know where he comes up with these things!
Star-Lord and the man who raised him, Yondu, played by Michael Rooker. “When they are present with me, I get to be present with me as well”. It’s now simply a way of life; one we just all have to try our hardest to avoid. In the second movie, he learns some seriously painful lessons about love and loss.
“I thought it was going to be an interesting project”. At the end of the first Guardians movies, Peter is able (with the help of his team) to hold an Infinity Stone (the orb) without dying. “He is a different character, for sure”.
Russell, plays Ego, father to Peter Quill (Pratt) in the film. “Guardians of the Galaxy 3” will set up the stage for future Marvel movies especially with “Avengers 4” coming. “The guy’s an icon, and he’s a really fabulous actor”.
“It was a little bit like flying on our own”.
And with DC’s output struggling to latch on with fans and critics lately, it seems everything worked out just fine for Pratt anyway.
Another witty script crafted by James Gunn and Nicole Perlman ensures that Guardians 2 is absolutely hilarious. But the Russos [directors of Infinity War] are really good.
At the world premiere in Hollywood the Marvel Studio stars told Euro correspondent Fahnia Thomas who they want to guard their personal galaxies. “It is honest and true stuff about human beings and the way we interact and how we have a hard time accepting love from other human beings”. Kenny, a star-lord fanboy, used the opportunity to make Pratt realise how much he adores the actor in the funniest way possible.
The “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” is about to premiere in the USA on May 5, 2017, but that didn’t stop Chris Pratt, who plays Peter Quill, to talk about what he would like his character to do next.
