Is this the end of the line for Lob City?

The Utah Jazz enjoyed another smooth ride through Staples Center.

The Los Angeles Clippers said Monday that Griffin had the procedure in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Jazz will need in more of the same during their second-round match-up with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

A rivalry has been simmering between the teams since past year, when Boston swept the season series.

Paul Pierce’s farewell tour officially came to an end on Sunday, after the Clippers were defeated by the Jazz during game 7 of their series.

Besides Paul, DeAndre Jordan (24) and Jamal Crawford (20) were the only other players to reach double-figures for the Clippers.

They split their four regular-season matchups this season, but each included intense moments.

Exum failed to score in eight minutes off the bench but had two rebounds, two assists and a steal. Favors also played a big role in Utah’s ability to disrupt LA’s pick-and-roll offense and consistently force the Clippers into contested shots.

Obviously, a lot can happen between now and the start of free agency so we will have to see how things are at the time, but as of right now, I think it is time to blow up the team and try to start over.

Joe Ingles had 12 points, Rodney Hood scored 11 and Joe Johnson and Boris Diaw added 10 each for Utah.

Bradley Beal had 27 points for the Wizards, who opened the game with a 16-0 run before falling behind by 15 at the end of the third quarter.

Paul is the obvious choice if Los Angeles has to choose between the two players. Hill and Favors each scored. It’s just there aren’t many cities in the United States that can compare to the bustling night life in a city such as Los Angeles, where the Warriors would have been playing if the Clippers had closed the deal on Sunday. That put the Jazz ahead 54-44, and the Clippers didn’t get closer than that until late in the fourth quarter, when J.J. Redick hit his only shot. Hayward drilled a jumper and then converted a tough three-point play in traffic. The Golden State Warriors are shooting 40.3 percent from beyond the arc and 78.9 percent from the free throw line. They also shot just 41.0 percent from the field and were 7 for 26 from behind the arc. He was a flawless 6-for-6 on Sunday.
