Spurs have likely seen their title hopes crushed yet again.Tottenham failed to gain any ground on league leaders Chelsea on Friday during its London derby versus West Ham.

Antonio Conte’s pacesetters can now secure the crown by winning two of their final four games – and they face Middlesbrough and West Brom before Tottenham are next in action. It was always a tough ask to overhaul Chelsea given the relentless pace they have set, and Spurs could scarcely have done any more.

After a tepid start, Tottenham should have taken the lead midway through the first half when Harry Kane’s 20-yard strike was pushed out by Adrian.

The 23-year-old concedes his side’s chances of claiming their first top-flight crown since 1961 are now virtually impossible, as Mauricio Pochettino’s men only have three games left to play in the campaign.
