Microsoft announce the arrival of iTunes to the Windows Store

This will help applications to work equally well on smartphones, tablets and computers. Fluent Design is a refreshing new take on Google’s Material Design language. Microsoft, in a statement, said, “The Fluent Design System will deliver intuitive, harmonious, responsive and inclusive cross-device experiences and interactions”. It’s basically a new design language for Windows 10, and the main agenda is to give developers access to a single design language that will work across a diverse set of platforms. It will be progressive be evolutionary.

Apple is bringing iTunes to the Windows Store. They’re not meant for everyday consumers, but their addition could be useful for 3D designers and enterprise users. Yesterday, Microsoft made it clear the ARM version of Windows 10 is a fully-functional and seamless experience.

This feature brings Cortana to the scene.

Windows Movie Maker, which has been a part of Windows XP, Vista, and other Windows operating systems has been missing from the Windows 10 OS.

On Windows and Android, Cortana will even install the necessary app for you if it’s not already present. But it wasn’t integrated into the Windows file system and didn’t work very well. This is something for which many Windows users have asked for – especially since the loss of “placeholders”.

The Fall Creators Update – a similar marketing moniker to a spring edition released in April – will come with Timeline, a feature created to let you jump back into files you were using a few hours or days ago as if you’d never left.

It’s created to solve two key problems: developers needing to burn time setting up their development environments, and the time that it takes to compile applications, according to Microsoft Corporate Vice President Nat Friedman. So, don’t be surprised if the doc you were editing on your PC before logging off pops up on your phone; the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update is smart enough to do that for you.

Windows is making hand-held controllers for virtual reality. The final devices and emulation features will go live with the Fall Creators Update packed into new ultrabooks and 2-in-1 hybrid laptops, initially from its hardware partners.
