O’Brien re-ups with TBS; ‘Big Bang’ gets spinoff

NEW YORK (AP) — Turner says TBS has closed a new deal with Conan O’Brien that extends through 2022.

During the month of April, 23 of the top 25 prime-time programs on broadcast television were carried on WIVB-TV, the local CBS affiliate.

CBS’ six new fall series is more than ABC (five) and Fox and NBC (three each).

“Kevin Can Wait” returns for its sophomore season at 9 p.m. and will move to 8 p.m. after football ends and the schedule readjusts. “One thing led to another and I thought, ‘This could be Sheldon.'” he said.

Armitige, who previously starred in Big Little Lies, revealed what it’s like to work with Parsons, saying: “We sort of buddied together and sometimes it would range from stuff like, ‘Say this line a little differently because Sheldon would think of it differently.’ ‘Don’t smile, ‘” the child actor revealed.
