Almost a week after he survived one of the most tumultuous episodes of the young Trump administration, it appears as though Spicer’s tenure as White House press secretary could be coming to an end.
Last week, White House press secretary Sean Spicer, along with other White House staff, struggled to explain to reporters why Trump had inexplicably fired Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey.

So since he began his job under the new administration, he has been attempting the “learn as you go” method with the president. That plan would include more prewritten answers, as the president floated on Twitter last week, and notably, more press conferences from Trump himself.
Guilfoyle, a UC Davis and University of San Francisco School of Law grad, was a rumored contender for the podium gig before Trump selected Sean Spicer.
