Chelsea FC Ladies Victorious At Wembley
The South Korea star ignored Greenwood’s presence and prodded the ball over the line from close range to score a historic goal – the first Women’s FA Cup Final goal to be scored at the national stadium.
But Eni Aluko was player of the match for a performance which dazzled and mesmerised the Notts County defence from the outset in the first women’s final played at Wembley.
The overwhelming emotion right now is just relief. “I feel relieved”, Aluko told BBC One”.

Throughout the match she was an inspirational captain, whose energy and defensive solidity often kept the rampant Chelsea forwards at bay. “It isn’t always about having the best players – we’ve got great characters and they fit the playing style and I hope they have a brilliant time (on Saturday night) because I’m so proud of them”.
