Apple App Store Is Getting A New Design

No Siri Speaker. It’s A HomePod Instead.

Apple says Siri is now more natural and expressive and can now translate English into Chinese, French, German, Italian or Spanish.

Colour options on offer are: Space Grey, Rose Gold, Gold and Silver.

Introducing iOS 11, a major update to the worlds most advanced mobile operating system, Apple has announced it would bring new experiences and several new features to iPhones and iPads this fall.

Is this an iOS feature you will mourn the loss of, or does it make sense to you? The first one in this list would be the Siri.

If you’ve ever used Apple Music, you’ll feel at home with the new App Store design in iOS 11.

The personal assistant will now be able to give you translations if you ask it something in a foreign language.

The developer preview of iOS 11 was launched last night, with a public beta to follow by the end of June and a widespread launch this autumn. If Apple hits a home run with its own offering, it could start taking away the throne from Amazon.

Live Photos, the feature that allows users to snap still images and animate them, has been improved further with new editing options and effects.

The new iOS iteration also promises a variety of new features for existing iPhone models.

There’s a new app switcher which keeps apps opened in the background allowing for easier switching to the apps along with the addition of the Control Center in the app switcher interface. Earlier Apple Pay transactions could be done only with businesses and institutions.

The new iPad Pro 10.5 will replace the 9.7-inch tablet, lining up alongside the company’s remaining 12.9-inch tablet. The company claims that this learning is end-to-end encrypted, and remains exclusively to take advantage on your synced devices.

iPad Pro introduces ProMotion, which automatically adjusts the display to the movement of the content. Apple claims that the new generation iPad Pro’s CPU is 30 percent faster and Graphics speed is 40 percent faster than its predecessor which provides extra battery life.

There’s quite a bit more of this going on with the software used with new iPad Pro. Apple also unveiled the high-end iMac Pro coming in December starting at about $5,000. The high-performance computer is a 27-inch desktop with 18 processor cores will be available for $4,999 this winter. It also comes with USB Type-C ports, Thunderbolt 3 ports, and 10GB Ethernet port.

The company also announced updates to its entire MacBook line giving its laptops more powerful specifications in the form of the latest Intel chips.

In a nod to Amazon streaming fans, Apple is also bringing Amazon Prime to its Apple TV app.

Geoff Blaber, VP Research, Americas, CCS Insight, said: “Facebook, Google and Microsoft have all laid out clear visions in 2017 for the role of machine learning and artificial intelligence”.

It also enhanced its workout app to, for instance, support high intensity interval training.
