Tesla Model 3 rolls out starting Friday -Elon Musk
In the wee hours of Monday morning on the East Coast and around midnight in California, Tesla CEO Elon Musk fired off a series of tweets confirming that the carmaker’s ,000 Model 3 will commence production in July.
The Tesla Model 3 is going to be a very popular vehicle for Tesla, it is considerably cheaper than their previous models with a start price of $35,000.
Mr Musk said on Twitter that production would increase quickly, with 100 Model 3s produced in August and 1,500 or more in September. This is where the Model 3 steps in as the company’s people’s vehicle.
Last year Elon Musk had revealed that nearly 370,000 Model 3 have been pre-ordered.
Musk had said that production was on track to start in July, but Tesla has often faced delays in getting vehicles to market.

Apart from the 5-seat and 7-seat options, Tesla is also providing a 6-seat option for Model X, in which the center seat of the second row is forgone either for space or an option, to add a center console over there. Model S and Model X owners are already anxious about having to share Tesla’s company-owned charging stations with an influx of new cars.
The Model 3 has sparked strong demand and customers placing orders now are told they can expect delivery sometime in mid-2018. The release date for the Model 3.
