Sherlock will be less rude in Victorian-era episode: Creator

There will be a slight difference in the way the characters speak, Sherlock will have the manners of a Victorian gentleman rather than acting like a brat, and Watson will be a bit more upright.

The special episode of “Sherlock” will see stars Cumberbatch and Freeman travelling to the Victorian England.

Mr. Moffat said Sherlock is more of a Victorian gentleman in the special. We’re still not sure when it will air (executive producer Mark “Mycroft’ Gatiss once stated it was to be a Christmas special), though creator Steven Moffat did have a few tidbits to share about it during a recent Q&A session at the summer TCA Press Tour”.

Well, we certainly didn’t know Dr. Watson can get any more uptight that he already is!

Taking a more serious approach, executive producer Rebecca Eaton noted that the show’s producers are cognizant of the fact fans are getting restless the longer they go without news.

– Season 4 of Sherlock will go into production next spring-and will also return to modern times.
