In a lengthy post on the popular social media site, Solo apologized for past anti-Semitic posts, and to CNN for the video.
A video posted five days ago by user “HanAssholeSolo” shows a man in a business suit, with the CNN logo superimposed over his head, getting slammed into the floor outside a wrestling ring by Trump. Trump added the hastags #FraudNewsCNN and #FNN, for “fraud news network”.
CNN denounced the president at the time and said the tweet would “encourage violence against reporters”. However, a recent NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll found that 69 percent of Americans say Trump’s use of Twitter is “reckless and distracting”, while only 21 percent say it’s “effective and informative”.

Most of the “fake news” media interpreted the “fake” wrestling match as a real threat of violence against them. “I hope they don’t”.
