Overall, the Mi Max 2 is a sleek phone with a smooth back and 2.5 D curved edges. It is also pretty clear from the picture that the phone will feature a metal unibody design. Mi Max is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and Max Prime is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. THe processor is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. Launched a year ago, Mi Max comes in two variants- Max standard and Max Prime. It comes with Fingerprint sensor on its back side.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 3 and Mi Mix 2 are some of the phones that the smartphone maker is said to be working on but the company could be planning for more in 2017.
To give the phablet an ergonomic design, Xiaomi’s engineers have done a good job in cutting the bulk by giving the phablet a decent screen-to-body ratio.
The camera on the Mi Max 2 is the same as the Xiaomi Mi 6. On the front is a 5-MP with f/2.0 large aperture and 85-degree wide angle lens. The device supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0, which enables it to charge up to 60% in just one hour. It is further claimed to be capable of charging 68 percent in one hour.
