Muguruza: I want to dance with Roger Federer

The victory marked his 19th Grand Slam title as he secured the win with a 6-3 6-1 6-4 score against Marin who had to play with severe pains in his foot all through the game.
After sealing the win against Cilic, the tennis legend cried after laying his eyes on Mirka and their children, Myla, Charlene, Lenny and Leo. “The good thing is that the best player in the world should be the one winning the biggest tournaments”, Federer said.
Wimbledon tradition dictates that the champions of the men’s and women’s draws share a dance at the post-tournament party, meaning the 23-year-old will be partnered by Federer or Marin Cilic. “Breaking a five year deadlock is more like a weight off us Federer fans shoulders’, it’s always fun to see the people who once wanted my hero to retire, now have songs and praises for him!” says Amy Virginia Stevens, a Federer fanatic.
However, after the doubts were swept away by a sensational victory at the Australian Open in January, Federer made a game-changing career move to skip the clay court season and focus on his favourite surface.
Wimbledon singles champions Roger Federer and Garbine Muguruza attended the Wimbledon Champions Ball on Sunday, July 16. Federer the Great deserves nothing less than that. This was after sealing his 18th Grand Slam with a win against his nemesis, Spanish player Rafael Nadal. There is hardly a court on the planet where he is not the home favourite.
“We are talking about grass, and it was playing fast this week”.
Will Nadal and Federer battle it out for world No 1?
The odds on Federer to retire next year are also slim at 10/11, whilst 2019’s odds are 11/8 and 2020 at 9/4. Eleven of the last 14 Wimbledon champions have finished the season top of the rankings.
“I’ve got to take more time off”, Federer joked as his twin girls Myla Rose and Charlene Riva, who were there when he beat Andy Murray in the 2012 final, and twin boys Leo and Lennart, who were not, watched their father kiss the trophy he first won in 2003.
Federer will have eyes on world number one having won his second grand slam of the year.
Only the young up and coming German Alexander Zverev has prevented a Masters sweep by the two old-timers by conquering Rome. The other two – Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray – of the fab four of tennis may still need a few more years for them to seriously challenge their senior rivals.
