The processor and RAM take a hit to a quad-core 1.4GHz unit and 1.5GB, and the battery is also smaller at 2,600 mAh.

We’re probably half a year away from the reveal of the new Galaxy A series, which is expected to arrive on the market in the last month of 2017 or early 2018.

Apart from this, the device might be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip coupled with 6GB of RAM and a 3,300 mAh battery cell. The announcement of the smartphone is expected this summer, but sold the first time it will only be in the USA local Telecom operators. There will be a fingerprint scanner placed below the display, integrated into the home button. Rounding out the J3 is a 5MP and 2MP camera for the back and front respectively, 16GB of expandable storage, and Android 7.0 Nougat.
