Twitter reacts to biggest scenes in season 7 episode 3
Finally, we see the continuation of Daenerys’ war plan play out while Tyrion narrates.
The promo for the fourth episode, which aired at the end of “The Queen’s Justice”, features a very frustrated Dany who fears she’s losing the war thanks to the recent loss of some of her allies. In other words, the key moments were many, here they are!
One saw the long-awaited first meeting between Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), the other depicted the death of a major character. Daenerys’ followers dug in their heels and supported her, just as Ser Davos did for Jon. Jon went to Dragonstone to ask Daenerys if he could mine the place for dragonglass, the only known way to defeat White Walkers. It did not. Jon Snow displayed Ned Stark’s stubbornness, and Daenerys displayed her own. Will Dany use her dragons in battle and learn firsthand about Cersei’s new toy?
If that weren’t enough, Bran also made a return to Winterfell, denouncing his position as the true heir to his home. Well, now that winter has finally come, Cersei took it as an opportunity to bring back her family’s creedo, all while attempting to enjoy a morning glass of what we must assume is the finest Dornish red. Only that the old, badass lady of House Tyrell drank poisoned wine served by Jamie Lannister.
We all know how Jon Snow feels about a lady telling him what to do. And Yara in all this?
Before that, however, we see Theon get rescued by Greyjoys. Bran informs him that he is the Three Eyed-Raven, although she does not understand what that means. Sansa would do better to tackle her duties as Queen of the North, which she manages to perfection at the moment. Daenerys is quick witted and strong, reciting the quick version of her struggle to power. Euron whispers inappropriate things about Cersei to Jaime who is disgusted. Euron’s fleet destroys their ship and the Lannister Army marches away from the palace to Highgarden.
The meeting soon turned sour after Snow refused to bend the knee to the queen. Will he agree to join her forces when he hears of the latest loss?
Take a look at what’s coming up next week on “Game of Thrones”…
Jaime tells her that while Cersei imagined a million violent deaths for Olenna, he will give her a painless poison instead. Will Jaime reveal the truth to the beloved sister?
Finally hearing Olenna confess to conspiring for Joffrey’s murder was brutal, given how much Jaime truly cared for the boy plus the fact that Tyrion very almost died thanks to Olenna letting him take the fall for the regicide.
