Nemanja Matic “very happy” to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United
In the process, he is rekindled with Jose Mourinho who was his manager when at Chelsea.
“For me, he is a good player and is at a good age, an age he can evolve, but if he keeps what he did last year and in the last two or three years, he will be an excellent signing”.
“Manchester is one of the biggest clubs in the world and also I wanted to train with Jose again”, he said. In Nemanja Matic, he got exactly what he wanted.
“Lukaku is a 25 goals-a-season striker, I expect Marcus [Rashford] to get even better this year and I see Mkhitaryan improving a lot as well, so I expect to see more goals”.

He was speaking to MUTV, and said: “Vidic was a great player – he had a great career”. But when Matic and Pogba started to gel, United looked much better.
He added: “Manchester United have got a tremendous player, a tremendous holding player, and they’ve needed somebody of that ilk”.
Mourinho had previously worked with Matic in Chelsea and the pair had a successful year in which they also clinched the Premier League.
United will be without defender Phil Jones for their Super Cup game next Tuesday after Uefa banned him for two matches for insulting a doping control officer following May’s Europa League final.
