Donald Trump Denies Calling the White House a ‘Dump’
You heard it here first, folks.
By most people’s standards, the White House is about as grand as it gets.
The president made his disparaging comments while chatting to members at his New Jersey golf club.
The lengthy story on Trump’s complicated love for golf is also set to appear in Sports Illustrated magazine’s August 7 edition. The figures include a weekend during official travel overseas, and Father’s Day weekend at Camp David, the government-owned presidential retreat in Maryland.
Secret Service has reportedly established a secure perimeter around Trump’s own private cottage at the club for when he visits, which has been four times so far.
His unflattering characterization of the White House was at odds with remarks Trump made Tuesday to small business owners. “We all need to be relocated out of the West Wing due to these renovations that should have taken place before”, Walters said.
Time magazine reported that former White House residence staff were upset by Trump’s comment.
The president, like his predecessors, has the right to take a vacation.
Trump, unlike previous presidents, has spent a great deal of time away from the White House, conducting business from his several resort properties. It is not clear what Trump said to the White House, whether he said seriously or else he simply spoke and said it.
“These are the most attractive phones I’ve ever used in my life”, Trump told The New York Times when he first moved in. “We wanted to give you a glimpse into his week”.
Shipnuck also said that Trump adviser Hope Hicks called him to complain about the quote and she wasn’t exactly friendly about it. “I am so proud of that”, said Lara. President Trump donated his second quarter salary to the Education Department.
He later went on to say, “They don’t even have golden toilets”. This puts Trump on track to have spent more on travel during his first years as president than Obama did during his eight years in the role.
